Ms. Yao brings to MFA over seven years of continuous experience in public accounting with a particular focus on tax compliance and consulting for publicly traded and privately held corporations as well as a variety of partnership arrangements. She has extensive experience working with companies in the manufacturing, high tech, real estate and financial services industries.
As a manager in the firm’s Tax Practice, Yanna is responsible for managing multiple client engagements and ensuring the highest level of client satisfaction. She works closely with clients, providing tax compliance and advisory services as well as designing and implementing innovative tax strategies that align with our clients’ overall business goals and objectives. Yanna is particularly well versed in FAS 109 Accounting for Income Taxes and FIN 48 Accounting for Uncertainty in Income Taxes analysis.
Prior to joining MFA, Yanna served for three years as a Tax Senior and a Tax Manager in the Boston office of KPMG.
