Mr. Landon provides a complete range of tax planning, compliance and consulting services to MFA’s publicly traded and privately held client companies. He has extensive experience in the technical aspects of federal and multi-state tax returns for corporate, pass-through entities, individuals, estates and trusts. Matt is also well versed in a broad range of complex tax issues including real estate and private equity investments as well as areas such as ASC 740 tax provisions (formerly FAS 109) and ASC 740-10 analysis (formerly FIN 48). In addition, Matt regularly consults with clients on the compliance aspects of employee benefit plans including defined contribution plans and fringe benefits.

Matt brings to MFA ten years of experience in public accounting having spent a number of years with the Big 4 accounting firm, KPMG, as well as several other New England area public accounting firms.
