MFA’s approach to assurance services is to go beyond the books and records to gain insight into our clients’ operations and corporate objectives. We spend more time up-front, learning the intricacies of a client’s business and building two-way communication that facilitates an efficient and complete audit. This approach significantly increases our effectiveness, enabling us to make more meaningful recommendations about various aspects of clients’ business systems, operational procedures and practices. This results in a service approach that often transcends the traditional accounting firm-client relationship. We believe that out of this expanded relationship flow our best operational and managerial recommendations for profit improvements, alternative capital resources, improved cash flow and other strategies that contribute in a real way to our clients’ competitive advantage and success.
Our approach to audits begins with the development of a well-planned process, driven by deadline-oriented objectives and deeply involved partners and senior-level managers to ensure there are no surprises throughout the engagement. We utilize technology throughout all facets of the audit process to help eliminate any inconsistencies or redundancies which may occur along the way.
MFA is extremely well suited to handle the complex structure of international audits and stands ready to execute with a team of technical experts and a high-level of logistical coordination and oversight to ensure our clients’ needs are met in a timely, efficient and effective manner. MFA is an independent member of the BDO Seidman Alliance and, as such, we have the ability to tap into BDO Alliance members with specialization in the local regions in which our clients operate. As the audit engagement dictates, we have the unique advantage of being able to access, deploy and manage specialty resources wherever they may be required. This greatly enhances the value we can deliver to our clients and allows us to serve them with even greater flexibility, efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
MFA is registered with the PCAOB and is a member of the AICPA’s Center for Audit Quality which opens our work to inspection and demonstrates our confidence in, and commitment to, quality control in the preparation of informative, fair, and independent audit reports. MFA received its latest inspection report from the PCAOB which again contained no deficiencies or quality control issues, indicating complete and continued compliance with PCAOB standards.
