The delivery of top quality audit, tax and other services demands rigorous
adherence to ever-changing statutes and rules. To assure that MFA meets and
exceeds all of these requirements, we are members of a variety of oversight
organizations that share best practices and monitor our performance. These
organizations include:
PCAOB
MFA is voluntarily registered with the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board.
The PCAOB is a private sector, non-profit corporation, created by the Sarbanes-Oxley Act 2002, to
oversee the auditors of public companies and protect the interests of investors. Because membership
opens our work to review by PCAOB, it demonstrates MFA’s confidence in, and commitment to,
quality control in the preparation of informative, fair, and independent audit reports.
In 2007, MFA received an inspection report from PCAOB indicating complete compliance with
PCAOB standards.

Peer Review Program
Since 1992, MFA’s assurance practice area has received unqualified
opinions without letters of comment from peer review programs with the American Institute of
Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the (Center for Public Company Audit Firm) CPCAF.
This places MFA in an exclusive category of the top quality CPA firms in the U.S.
