MFA is currently seeking an individual to join our firm as a Manager in our Tax Department. MFA’s tax professionals are committed to providing our clients with specialized resources balanced with highly personal and responsive service. They are responsible for delivering tax compliance and advisory services, and implementing tax strategies which align with our client’s overall business goals. The ideal candidate will possess:
- Bachelors in Accounting, MST/MBA preferred. Certified Public Accountant license.
- Seven plus years of continuous Federal and State tax consulting and/or compliance experience in public accounting to include Corporate, S-Corp, Partnership, Individual and Fiduciary returns.
- Analytical and technical skills in tax compliance and consulting/planning with proficiency in US GAAP.
- Knowledge of tax software, technology and research tools.
- Dedicated to client service with excellent communication skills and the ability to continually develop new business while maintaining client relationships.
- Proven and caring leadership abilities with a genuine interest in the professional development and mentoring of others.
- A passion for quality, strong attention to detail, highly ethical, self-directed, and results orientated.
