Repeatedly Honored as One of the 50 Best Small & Medium Companies to Work
for in America
We're always out to prove that it's possible to have fun working at an accounting firm – it's a worthy goal and one we're achieving every day. That's why we're proud to have been named, for the second year in a row, one of the Best Places to Work in America by the Society for Human Resource Management and the Great Place to Work Institute (featured in July's HR Magazine.) Being recognized at a national level in back to back years is a validation of our efforts to genuinely and continuously care for the members of our firm.
We're the only East Coast accounting firm on the list, and it makes sense — we're the only such workplace to really prioritize a great environment for hard working professionals who deserve it. MFA is only as successful as its people, which is why we are comprised of members with excellent minds who are enthusiastic about what we do. And we would be missing the boat if we didn't reward our energetic, dedicated, impact-driven professionals with important benefits like:
- Increased Firm Holidays (14 per year) so members can enjoy family time and really relax away from the office.
- Summer Hours on Fridays from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
- The Breakfast Club, for which one partner takes three members out monthly for breakfast. With 12 partners that's 36 members per month who sit face to face with a partner and talk about anything they choose.
- Our formal Mentor Program, for which each member chooses a more senior member of the firm as a mentor to assist in their growth and professional development.
- The Buddy Program to help acclimate new members of the firm and make them feel welcome as they learn their way around the office.
- Trimester Firm meetings where presenters from all areas of the firm share information on hot topics.
- Empowering our members to reach their full potential through individual career-long "Learning Plans" as well as an annual firm-wide "Education Week"
- Planned events to celebrate the holidays, end of busy season and the fall season, often with our families in attendance.
