TEWKSBURY, Massachusetts – MFA Cornerstone Consulting, a consulting firm designed to help businesses optimize performance, control risk, and appropriately assess the value of their enterprise, announces the addition of Mr. Gregg Hamilton-Piercy as Director of its Valuation Practice. Mr. Hamilton-Piercy will oversee the valuation and litigation support teams and will be responsible for ongoing practice development and ensuring continuous compliance with professional standards.
Mr. Hamilton-Piercy brings to MFA Cornerstone Consulting a diversified background in corporate finance having spent over 12 years managing valuation and related engagements intended for a variety of purposes including gift and estate tax matters, mergers and acquisitions, equity buy/sell agreements, marital dissolutions and financial reporting. Prior to joining MFA Cornerstone Consulting, Mr. Hamilton-Piercy served as Senior Valuation Manager for a Boston-area public accounting firm where he regularly performed 409A and ASC 718 stock option valuations as well as goodwill and intangible asset impairment testing and intangible asset valuations. He has also served as an Assistant Vice President for a venture capital firm focused on investing in expansionary-stage private companies in the information technology, telecommunications, real estate, energy, and health sciences industries.

Mr. Hamilton-Piercy earned his Baccalaureate of Commerce in Finance and Accounting at McGill University in Montreal, Canada.
