MFA is currently seeking an individual to join our firm as a Senior in our Tax Department. MFA’s tax professionals are committed to providing our clients with specialized resources balanced with highly personal and responsive service. They are responsible for delivering tax compliance and advisory services, and implementing tax strategies which align with our client’s overall business goals. The ideal candidate will possess:
- Bachelors in Accounting with a minimum GPA of 3.5, MST, MSA or MBA required.
- Certified Public Accountant license within the state of Massachusetts preferred, or candidacy in process.
- Four plus years of continuous Federal and State tax compliance experience in public accounting to include Corporate, S-Corp, Partnership, Individual and Fiduciary returns, and FAS 109.
- Knowledge of tax software, technology and research tools.
- Dedicated to client service with excellent communication skills and the ability to continually develop new business while maintaining client relationships.
- Proven and caring leadership abilities with a genuine interest in the professional development and mentoring of others.
- A passion for quality, strong attention to detail, highly ethical, self-directed, and results orientated.
