MFA is currently seeking an individual to join our firm as a Manager in our Audit Department. MFA’s audit professionals are committed to providing our clients with specialized resources balanced with highly personal and responsive service. They are responsible for delivering audit compliance and advisory services, and implementing attestation strategies which align with our client’s overall business goals. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Bachelors in Accounting with a minimum GPA of 3.5, MBA or MSA preferred.
  • Certified Public Accountant licensed within the state of Massachusetts a requirement.
  • Eight plus years of continuous attestation and consulting experience within public accounting.
  • Experienced in the fields of emerging technology, life science and, as applicable, government grants and contracts is a plus.
  • Direct experience with managing SEC audits, including familiarity with PCAOB audit requirements and SEC 10K and related filings is required.
  • Analytical and technical skills in tax compliance and consulting/planning with outstanding knowledge of US GAAP and GAAS.
  • Knowledge of attestation software, technology and research tools.
  • Dedicated to client service with excellent communication skills and the ability to continually develop new business while maintaining client relationships.
  • Proven and caring leadership abilities with a genuine interest in the professional development and mentoring of others.
  • A passion for quality, strong attention to detail, highly ethical, self-directed, and results orientated.
