Mr. Landon provides a complete range of tax planning, compliance and consulting services to MFA’s publicly traded and privately held client companies. He has 15 years of experience in the technical aspects of federal and multi-state tax returns for corporate, pass-through entities, high net worth individuals, fiduciaries, closely-held businesses, estates and trusts. Matt leverages this expertise along with his broad range of knowledge in complex tax issues including real estate and private equity investments, entity selection and structuring, and business succession planning, in order to have a meaningful impact on the lives and welfare of MFA’s client base. In addition, he regularly consults with clients on the compliance aspects of pension, welfare and employee benefit plans including defined contribution plans and fringe benefits.
Prior to MFA, Matt spent a number of years with the Big 4 accounting firm KPMG, as well as several other New England area public accounting firms.
